Financial Controller

Scotford Fennessy have been exclusively briefed on a Financial Controller role. Company details are confidential at this juncture, with more information able to be provided in coming days. We will provide a detailed Information Memorandum for candidates as the process progresses. 

Key duties.

Production of accurate monthly management reports in a timely manner for both local and group levels

• Collating and reporting on operating results across business units, global jurisdictions, and currencies
• Ensure interdepartmental transactions are accurately accounted and balanced
• Bringing reporting timelines back into agreed end of month timescales

Production of accurate statutory financial reports in a timely manner

• Supporting the company’s culture of compliance by keeping up to date with accounting standards across relevant jurisdictions

Support the finance projects team

• Assist in the improvement and implementation of finance systems

Team management

• Lead a team of four direct reports locally and incorporate data from international team

About you

• Tertiary Qualifications in Business or Commerce and be CA or CPA qualified. 
• You will have proven experience as a Financial Controller (or comparable role), with experience reporting applying IFRS in a large business (turnover exceeding $500m). Proven leadership / team management record.
• Experience within a global organisation with disparate business units, locations and currencies, including managing team in different time-zones, will set you up for success.
