More about the role:

• Scope jobs accurately for quality repair of plant and equipment including estimation of time, materials and resources required to complete the job.
• Test equipment, ensure safety compliance and undertake appropriate risk management (Completion of Take 5’s, JSEAs and Hazards ID’s)
• Regular drug & alcohol screening onsite

Skills & Experience

• Trade Certificate (Australian Recognised or Equivalent VETASSES)
• Surface Mining experience is favourable
• Current / Valid Drivers License (C Class minimum)
• National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months)
• Experience maintaining, Servicing and attending breakdown repairs on a fleet of CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr mining equipment
• Diagnose, problem solve and fault find on the job.
• Work unsupervised at times
• Basic Computer Skills
