Junior Exploration Geologist

A unique opportunity exists for a Junior Exploration Geologist to join a dynamic exploration program in the North Kimberley region of Western Australia.

This 2-3 month contract is set to commence at the end of May and offers hands-on experience working with an experienced geological team in a remote setting.

About the Role:

Reporting to the senior exploration team, you will be involved in field-based geological activities, including core logging, drill rig operations, and supporting ongoing exploration efforts. This role operates on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off FIFO roster from Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field-based geological mapping and sampling.
• Assist with drill rig operations, including core logging and data collection.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures.
• Support exploration and resource definition activities.
• Work collaboratively with a small but highly skilled team.

About You:

• Tertiary qualification in Geology or a related field.
• Previous experience working in remote field locations.
• Hands-on experience with drill rigs and core logging.
• Manual Driver’s License (essential).
• First Aid Certificate (preferred).
• Must have full Australian working rights.
