The role
Scotford Fennessy is seeking Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters eager to work on mine sites with structured rosters, including 8/6-day shifts and 7/7-night shifts.
Requirements
- Mechanical trade certification
- Previous FIFO experience
- Previous experience in maintenance and repair of fixed plant processing equipment in gold or iron ore is highly valued
- High risk work licenses
- Working at heights and confided spaces ticket
- Crane, Franna, dogging, rigging tickets
- Experience with pumps, crushers and screens will be desired
- 5-10years experience in fixed plant maintenance
- Minimum C class driver’s license.
- Safety minded practices applied to real-life work.
- Ability to pass medical + drug and alcohol screen.
- Willingness to get a national police clearance
