About the company:
Our client is a major producer with projects across exploration, development and production. With a significant mine life and on track for 2024 production targets this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team with a clear focus on expansion.

About the role:
Reporting directly to the Senior Geologist the candidate will be responsible for responsible for assistance in the development and implementation, but not limited to, mining and product quality processes within the areas of Mining, Processing and Shipment.

Key aspects will include but not be limited to: Analytical reporting and review, short / mid / long term mine scheduling and strategy, utilise mine planning software and systems to achieve efficient mining outcomes

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in Geology and a proven ability in a open pit hard rock environment
  • You will be a self-motivated individual that thrives in a team environment and enjoy building strong relationships across all technical departments.
  • The ideal candidate will be confident in using Surpac and Leapfrog.
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and report writing skills
  • Pro-active approach and planning, ensuring effective communication between departments.

Requirements:
Tertiary degree in Geology
Must have the right to live and work in Australia
Current National Police Clearance
Current Australian drivers license
Ability to complete a Pre-Employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
