Our client is a well-established Australian open pit hard rock producer with a large flagship operation in the Pilbara region. Due to rapid growth and increased production, they are now looking for an experienced and motivated Production Engineer to join their high performing team.

About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, this is an exciting opportunity for experienced Production Engineer to join a company that offers excellent career progression. You will be responsible for the short term mine schedule, production plans and reporting. Furthermore, you will produce open pit mine designs including waste dumps, haul roads and ROM stockpiles. Other responsibilities will include developing the daily, and 2 weekly mine plan and schedules and generating daily reports.

You are growth focused, driven professional with a proven ability to think on your feet in an ever-changing environment. This role is ideal for someone that is looking to make it their own and grow with a business that has substantial expansion plans in place.

The ideal candidate will have proven open pit hard rock experience, completed the work experience to obtain a WA Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency and have experience in using Alastri and Surpac.
