Offering a part-time payroll opportunity with a reputable ASX-listed mining company located in Perth CBD. This position is structured as a temporary-to-permanent arrangement, allowing you to initially join the team on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent position based on your performance and fit within the organization. You will play a crucial role in supporting the payroll function of a growing company in the mining sector, gaining valuable experience and insights into industry practices. Due to recent growth and an increase in workload, they are seeking a dedicated part-time Payroll Officer to support their expanding team. The role will initially commence as a temporary contract, with the potential for it to transition into a permanent position, contingent upon team fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process fortnightly payroll for approximately 130 blue-collar employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and procedures.
  • Support the existing payroll team in managing payroll functions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with FIFO payroll is essential.
  • Proficiency in PRONTO software is required.
