Pit Technician

Role Overview
  
Our client has engaged us to source qualified Field Assistants to assist their mining operations located on various sites around Western Australia.
  
These roles will suit candidates who have at least 6 months prior experience working in a core shed, or as a Field Assistant. These positions will be ongoing and give candidates the opportunity to further develop their skill sets while also allowing some to transition from a temp to a perm position with the company based on their performance.
  
  
Duties 

• Drilling rig sampling & processing (RC, AC & Diamond) 
• Core cutting, marking up & photography
• Using & competent with site software
• Collecting & packaging samples
• Maintaining stock levels and equipment 

  
Requirements

• Current / Valid Driver’s Licence (HR Licence desirable)
• Forklift Licence (essential)
• Senior First Aid
• National Police Clearance
