Procurement Specialist

A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact in the centrally located office near trainline of this ASX listed global resources operator. As you would expect, day-to-day matters will include:

• Managing sourcing-to-contract processes, including drafting and issuing RFx, managing clarifications, commercial evaluation of responses, negotiations, awarding, and forming contracts
• Supporting the development and execution of savings plans, delivering measurable cost savings and operational improvements through contracting
• Advising end users and stakeholders on contract-related matters
• Drafting and preparing contractual documentation
• Providing post-award contract management services as needed, ensuring effective support through to contract closeout or practical completion

About you

• Experience in a similar role, preferably within the resources sector
• Expertise in developing and implementing procurement strategies for goods and services contracts
• Experience in negotiating, managing, and maintaining contractual and commercial agreements with service providers and suppliers
• Full Working Rights, National Police Clearance Check or ability to obtain
