About the opportunity
Our client is a well-established yet rapidly growing civil construction and mining contractor with projects across Australia. They are currently looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their latest project in the Pilbara. This operation offers significant mine life, an ever evolving environment and a great opportunity for someone to come in and make a real impact to the operation and also gain some exposure to drill and blast. This role is offered on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth.
About the role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include being responsible for all aspects of mine production such as scheduling and operational planning, equipment and personnel to ensure targets are met. You will play a vital role in building a positive team environment and culture and participate in ongoing business improvement as well as coordinate the workforce to ensure production targets are met in a safe manner.
About you
- Significant experience in a Mine Production Supervisor role
- Proven ability to provide clear leadership and manage teams successfully
- Must be able to attend a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and have a valid Australian manual driver’s license.
