Our client is a large open pit producer based in the Pilbara, employing just over 3000 employees and contractors at this flagship operation. The mine pit is over 2.6sq km in area and will triple in size over the life of the project. They are currently looking for a Senior Minestar Specialist to be the primary point of contact for all production Minstar production related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fleet Data Management: Oversee data integrity and accuracy from fleet management systems, ensuring smooth operations and actionable insights.
• MineStar Operations: Act as the go-to expert for MineStar maintenance and support, leveraging your knowledge to troubleshoot issues and enhance system performance.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize advanced tools to design, maintain, and interpret reports, driving efficiency and innovation in mining operations.
• Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to streamline fleet processes, reduce costs, and boost productivity through data-driven recommendations.
• Technical Support: Manage server and hardware performance, coordinate IT maintenance, and ensure optimal system functionality.
• Business Intelligence: Create dynamic dashboards using Power BI, translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• SQL Expertise: Use your proficiency in SQL to extract, organize, and analyze critical data, delivering meaningful reports and recommendations.

Requirements:

• A tertiary degree in Mining Engineer or other technical related discipline
• Proven experience working as an admin for Fleet Management System Minestar
• Full working rights in Australia
• Australian C-class Drivers License
