Underground Drill and Blast Engineer

Our client is a leading Australian open pit and underground hard rock producer with a large flagship operation in the Goldfields region. Due to rapid growth and increased production, they are now looking for an experienced and motivated Drill and Blast Engineer to join their high performing team.

About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, this is an exciting opportunity for experienced Drill and Blast Engineer to join a company that offers excellent career progression. You will be responsible for the design of drill and blast patterns as well planning, optimizing, and monitoring of all drill and blast activities. Furthermore, you will assist with budgeting and forecasting and daily production planning. This role also offers the opportunity to develop and implement continuous improvement projects and trials.

The ideal candidate will have proven underground hard rock experience, completed their underground time and have experience in using Deswik.
